Drama alert: Former President Donald Trump might be the one who tipped off The New York Times about Elon Musk’s alleged drug habits. 👀
According to presidential biographer Michael Wolff, Trump has been telling people he “dropped a dime” on Musk, claiming he fed The Times the story exposing Elon’s use of ketamine, MDMA, mushrooms, and Adderall. Wolff said Trump’s been calling up contacts just to trash talk Musk—who he once called his “first buddy.”
This comes after The NYT ran a major exposé in May 2024, quoting sources who said Musk’s drug use had top execs and investors worried. Musk clapped back with a clean drug test and denied everything, saying he tried ketamine once for depression but doesn’t use it now.
So far, Trump hasn’t confirmed or denied Wolff’s story. His team called Wolff a liar. The NYT hasn’t revealed their source, either.
Bottom line: Trump might be behind the leak, but it’s not confirmed. Still, this feud just got personal—and messy.
