Egyptian Mythology: A Divine Epic of Gods and Kings

Prologue — Before Time Began

Prologue — Before Time Began

Before the first sunrise… before land, sky, or life itself… see only darkness. An endless ocean of chaos stretches across the universe. This is Nun, the primordial void.

From these waters, something rises. A sacred mound. A pyramid of light. The Benben emerges, and upon it blooms a lotus. When the flower opens, light explodes into existence.

From the lotus is born Ra — the first god. With him comes fire, order, and the sun itself.

Act I — The First King of Heaven

Ra shapes the universe with his voice. He creates Shu, god of air, and Tefnut, goddess of rain. Together, they give rise to the sky and the earth, Nut and Geb.

Ra reigns as the first pharaoh of existence. Under his rule, the Nile is born, animals walk the land, and humanity rises from his tears of joy. Egypt becomes the heart of the world.

But even gods fear time. Ra foresees betrayal — a future where his own blood will overthrow him.

Act II — The Rise of Osiris

From Nut and Geb are born four children: Osiris, Isis, Seth, and Nephthys. Destiny begins to turn.

Osiris ascends the throne. A god-king of wisdom and compassion. He brings law to chaos, teaches humanity farming, weaving, and bread, and turns Egypt into a golden civilization.

At his side stands Isis — goddess of magic and devotion. Together, they rule in harmony.

But in the desert, jealousy grows. Seth, god of storms and destruction, watches his brother’s prosperity and hungers for the throne.

Act III — The Betrayal

Seth prepares a trap. A grand feast. Music. Laughter. And a single gift — a magnificent coffin.

“Whoever fits inside,” Seth announces, “may keep it.”

Osiris lies down. The lid slams shut. The coffin is sealed and thrown into the Nile.

The god-king drowns. The world falls silent.

Act IV — Death and Resurrection

Isis weeps. Her sorrow floods the Nile and brings life to the land. She searches Egypt for her husband’s body — but Seth finds it first.

In fury, Seth tears Osiris into forty-two pieces and scatters them across the land.

With the help of Anubis, the jackal-headed god, Isis gathers the fragments. Anubis performs the first mummification.

Osiris returns — not as king of the living, but as ruler of the dead.

From one final union, Isis conceives a child. A child of vengeance.

Act V — The Falcon’s Revenge

His name is Horus. Raised in secrecy, trained for war. A falcon god destined to reclaim his father’s throne.

When Horus challenges Seth, the heavens tremble. Their battles rage for decades — in deserts, rivers, and the sky. Eyes are torn out. Blood stains the sand.

The gods themselves serve as judges. Trial after trial. Test after test.

At last, truth prevails. Seth is exposed. Horus is crowned king.

Act VI — The Eternal Cycle

As Horus rules Egypt, Ra continues his daily journey across the sky in his solar boat. Each night, he descends into the underworld, facing the chaos serpent Apophis.

Every dawn is a victory. Every sunrise, a resurrection.

Horus defends the sun. Osiris judges the dead. Anubis guides souls to their fate.

Epilogue — The Goddess of Nine Lives

Watching over humanity is Bastet, the gentle cat goddess. Protector of homes. Slayer of serpents. Guardian of the sun’s light.

Cats become sacred. To harm one is to defy the gods themselves. Even today, they walk with quiet pride — as if remembering when they were divine.

Final Scene

Thrones rise. Gods fall. Light battles darkness — forever.

This is not just mythology. This is the eternal story of Egypt.
