Lynn Kang (Callina Liang), a brilliant Chinese-Canadian scholarship student at an elite Seattle prep school, quickly recognizes that the system overwhelmingly favors its wealthy—often white—students. Determined to level the playing field and secure her future, she launches an increasingly elaborate cheating scheme.
What begins as small-scale test assistance soon grows into a nationwide operation to game the SAT. She teams up with Bank (Jabari Banks), another gifted but financially struggling student. Their story isn’t merely about cheating—it’s about the structural pressures that drive talented students to desperate choices.
